And how very easy it is to forget about how important they can be to others and how easy they are to take for granted. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to a hot shower after weeks of sponge baths.

“The righteous will answer him, saying Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?” Looking back I’m guilty of being too busy, too self-involved, too focused on my own needs and have ignored the opportunity to bless someone with a simple thing. So I can’t miss a chance to say thank you to all of you have shared some simple things with me the past few weeks. But thank you is inadequate to express my deepest gratitude.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t remind myself, and you, that Jesus’ call on our life is simple. Love the Lord with all your being, take care of each and walk humbly with Him. From a fellow traveler that’s been blessed, thanks for walking with us.
