Three Years Ago

Three years ago, my family and I arrived in Texas to take up the challenge of building a new radio station in North Texas. Three years doesn’t seem all that long ago. In fact I have boxes in the garage we still haven’t unpacked to prove it.

Since that day, we’ve built two studios and some office space, designed and implemented a new radio station called the Journey, taught a few college students a thing or two about radio, learned a thing or two about communication in the completion of my master’s degree at UTA and most importantly, made a few thousand new friends and seen God at work in our lives. Nothing short of a miracle in three years, I would say.

On the anniversary our arrival in Texas, Wanda and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for the warm welcome and friendship. Thank you for listening to The Journey and allowing us into your homes and lives every day. We appreciate your support and are looking forward to the miracles God will share with us in the year to come.

For 88.3 The Journey, I’m General Manager Mike Agee.
